I have a number of installs of 0.9.5 - all with the same problem. When you click on html button and make edits in code view, and then close the html window - the edits appear in the WYSIWYG view, but as soon as you save the edits are removed.

I can’t find anything in bug reports on this. If wide-spread then I’m sure it would have been uncovered smiley

Anyone else getting the same problem? Mine is not isolated to a single site, so I don’t think its the install.

Note: I have posted this in bugtracker as well.

Are you sure this is not due to tinyMce’s cleanup routines? What sort of edits dissappear?

I was having an issue with trying to copy code from Dreamweaver using the html button feature for a file. The file was around 140KB and it kept giving me a script error that it was unresponsive. I’m not sure if your getting this, but I turned off the RTE on the page, and it works fine now. Turn off your Rich Text button (unselect it) on your page in question, and then try editing the code on the page and see if that works.

If I turn of the editor, I can make and save changes fine.  Its definetely something to do with TinyMCE.

With the editor on, in code view, no changes are accepted on save.  For example just add a fullstop in the text in code view, close code edit window, and the fullstop appears in the RTE view. Now SAVE the page, and it disappears.

Almost all our sites run multiple RichText TVs.  That could be a factor.

Tobyl - I can give you access if you want to see in action.
