Question: How to inherited RTE + checkbox TV

My problem: I have 3 rte TV’s (let’s call them tvTop, tvLeft, tvBottom). I want their value to be inherited from the parent. Ok so far. But I want to be able to display them via checkboxes (tvDisplaytop, tvDisplayLeft, tvDisplayRight). And I would like the checkboxes value to be inherited also (tho this is not a must).

Question: How can I control the display of the RTE tv’s via the checkboxes? How can I make them tied together?

And just make the Chunks be TVs.

That is a good demo but not what I am really looking for. The main differences are: the RTE cant be changed per page (overwriting inheritance), and the chunks are being editted via the chunk menu.

Well, yes, but I think you could apply the same concepts, and just make the getChunks() and chunkListParser functions instead be TV-manipulating instead.

Shouldn’t be too hard, as long as you stick with the same @EVAL concepts...

I guess the two main items I am looking for are:
RTE tv (per page) with inheritance
and checkboxes to control whether they are shown or not

The above example does not work, because it is just showing or not showing a chunk. But chunk’s dont have inheritance or per page settings. The chunk is static. Also, the RTE tv is on the same page as the document via manager.

Any other help round here?
