Stats setting in MODx, does it affect AwStats?

hey guys,
i’ve got awstats on the site I am working on, and I am using modx. I noticed there is a stats config there. Is it a config for rep. item only or does it affect the work of awstats??

No, this has nothing to do with awstats which is an Apache raw log file analysis tool. The config settings and related document attributes were kept from previous releases which had a built-in statistics engine. This engine was removed in 0.9.5, but the configuration settings and attributes remain so they can be used by custom components or integrations with 3rd party tools that may want to serve the same purpose.

hmm I was sure that the stats were included in the previous versions and couldn’t understand where it went in .95 or maybe I was just dreaming:p Thanks!:)

They were. They caused tremendous problems and now they’ve been retired. AWStats, Mint, Google Analytics and others are better tools, anyway.
