DropMenu and gtext

Hello

I was wondering (before i re-invent the wheel) if anyone has created a snippet that allows me to create a menu system using DropMenu and gtext? for example.

A client has asked for a menu system that is dynamically created from the document heirachy in modx, but using a font that is not a system font.

i was going to use mikeindustries sIFR 2.0 - but i’d like to do it with out using flash...

any suggestions?

i’m making progress on this, using a combination of gtext and listSiteMap, it’s not very elegant at the moment (the code) but it is doing what i want it to do (so far) - just need to create some other bits for it - and see how it goes.

anyhow, thought people might be interested... will post finished results when done.

Got the menu working, using gtext and listSiteMap (well hacked around with these two snippets)

it’s not at all in a stage where it can be used as a nice snippet on it’s own, but it works well - and if anyone is interested in doing the same i can give you some pointers.

when i get some time i will try and make it into a self contained snippet all of it’s own, and so some more work on it so that it is more customisable.
