I am having a mare! I have been trying to upload an image to use on one of my pages. using TinyMCE I clock on the "insert/edit image" icon which opens a new window. I click on the browse image next to Image URL which opens yet another window. At the top it says Reource type "image" which seems good. I click on Create New folder, but nothing happens, the same as upload a new file...It doesnt get past 0%. my initial thought was that I needed to CHMOD the folder where the new folder is created. After CHMOD’ing just about everything I am at a loss. Where on earth is this folder in the ModX hierachy? Is is the problem something else?
Cheers for any pointers!

Hi there,
We’ve seen this problem before and most of the time the problem seems to stem from a server configuration problem. Umm...could you post some details about the server configuration? Version of Apache, PHP, MySQL, etc., as well as how PHP is running (CGI or the like). Also, if your manager is accessible from the web, I would be happy to login and take a look at the problem.

Thanks for answering,
I have webspace at strato (www.strato.de) which it would appear is not a good idea. The mySQL version is 5.0.21. As far as I can see the PHP version is 5. So far I have found out that I can’t use friendly URLs because mod_rewrite is not available. The thing is I have 3 domains there as a package. Last night I decided to move 2 to one.com and this one to host europe which supports mod_rewrite.
You mentioning is it it online, made me think about it a little more, so I tried it locally where I have an XAMPP setup and it worked fine. If you do have time to take a look I can send you access via a PM. That would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Taff
{EDIT]Strange things are happening, I do a CHMOD to 777 which it carries out, then when I check again 30 secs later its back to either 0 or 600[/EDIT]

I changed my webhost and it worked straight away.
