FCKEditor/TinyMCE with Newspublisher

I am trying to get a RTE working with News Publisher. I followed the directions in the FCKEditor tutorial to the letter, went back over it a number of times, double-checked my base tag, combed through all the config settings, TV settings, snippet tags params, etc., looking for some reason it might not be working. I also tried setting it up with TinyMCE since FCKEditor wasn’t working. I logged out, logged back in, logged out of the manager, logged back in... nothing seems to work.

Nothing shows up at all on the front end. It seems to work on the back end just fine, but it’s the front end/NewsPublisher that I really need to get working.

I’m working in Firefox/Mac, my hosting provider runs Linux.

Any ideas as to how I might get this working are much appreciated.

Haven’t played with the Newspublisher much lately. But one thing you could try...if there’s a TV that is being used for the RTE, try setting a default value in the TV config. Weird...but it works most of the time.
