Any thoughts on a Realtor site?

I thought I’d see if anyone has had any experience, luck, or just thoughts on approaching the development of a site for a real estate agent.

Aside from the standard site basics, there would be a need for some specific features...

- add and edit property listings
- able to collect typical property features quickly and easily... number of bedrooms, baths, amenities
- present and categorize listings based on type (condo, house), status (for sale, pending offer, sold), location, etc.
- searchable

While initial thoughts were maybe using TVs, not being able to search within as well as probably ending up with a ton of TVs kind of nixes that idea. So I’m guessing a separate table or tables for the listings.

Which is why I’m opening up for thoughts and ideas, since I haven’t really worked with mysql and tables much (or at all, aside from other scripts, but nothing written from scratch or modified). Or, if anyone has already implemented something like or highly similar to this they could share, or even the possibility of selling, please feel free to PM me any details.

I realize there are dedicated solutions like OpenRealty, which I have even played with briefly a few years back, but would much rather try to create a solution with MODx if possible.

thanks for making me aware of this! Looks great.

I’m still thinking the number of TVs may be a little much for all the details, but this will be a great addition anyway.

edit... okay, after looking in more detail, maybe this isn’t too much.... certainly provides an interesting solution to be considered
