I’m probably being a complete numpty but I am having issues with QuickEdit.

If I am logged into the manager as admin, then viewing the site shows quickedit links.

If I log into the site as siteadmin, the links don’t appear, but presumably site admin has full access to the site no?

How can I create a user (should this be a manager user or a webuser?) that has permission to edit pages content with QuickEdit, but not do anything else like changing page designs etc?

      OK,
So if I create a manager user with edit and module running permissions, then log into the manager console as that user, and then view the webpage it brings the quickedit links up.

Is there a way of getting these links to appear for someone that can log into the website direct?

My users won’t cope with having to do the above!!

You can create a manager user that automatically goes to a specified front page on login, and also block him from accessing the manager. But they do have to log in as a Manager user.
