Hi. I tried installing the MR Wizard and had errors that I tracked to wrong permission on my server (Linux). So I set them at 777 in the appropriate folders and the install went fine. Then I immediately went back and used the directions here:
http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Securing_your_site and reset the permissions as listed. Now I can’t run anything in the Manager, so I know some things are wrong. I wonder if someone can give me a definitive list of what permissions to set my site files please? Maybe there’s another doc somewhere? I just don’t want to make it worse...
