Bear with me ... I’m a ModX newbie! With that in mind:
I am using ModX 0.9.5 and Wayfinder 1.0.
I insert the snippet [[Wayfinder? &startId=’0’]] in my template where I want my menu to appear, but nothing shows up. The documents are set to Published and the Appear In Menu box is checked.
What am I missing?

Use backticks, not single quotes, around parameters.

Thanks for the info ... made the change to back ticks, but menu still not displaying.
I checked the error report and saw:
[tt]Failed opening ’assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.inc.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’/usr/home/web/users/html/new/manager/includes/’)
Warning: Unknown(assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/web/users/html/new/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(748) : eval()’d code on line 22
Warning: (null)() [function.include]: Failed opening ’assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.inc.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’/usr/home/web/users/html/new/manager/includes/’) in /usr/home/web/users/html/new/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(748) : eval()’d code on line 22[/tt]
The file exists and permissions are 0755 ... what should the permissions be?

Sounds like you have a lot of missing or corrupt files. I’d re-upload your manager and your assets (particularly wayfinder) folder, making sure to keep your config.inc.php file in place. Also turn off friendly URLs for the moment, and rename your htaccess files back to ht.access.
