Needing More Help.

Well, here I am again needing help.    If ya go to  http://www.okstructures.com/index.php?id=22 , and scroll down to the four smaller photos, you’ll see what is wrong.  I added all these pix as side by side in two row’s , with the text directly under the pictures. But now its all messed up.  I’m a teen working part-time for a friend, and I am slowly learning MODX, so all help is VERY appreciated!

If any of you guys have any advice on how I should learn to use MODX more proficiently, I’d be most grateful.

I think the problem with the images is probably because you are spacing them by using non-breaking spaces ( ) and that is asking for trouble for precision alignment - I’d suggest you remove the spaces and perhaps think about floating the images left and right accordingly.

As for learning MODx, I think you’re going about the right way about it - getting stuck into a project. Other than that, build your knowledge up gradually rather than trying to learn it all at once - read the documentation, the wiki and keep an eye on the forums and you’ll soon pick up on some of the more advanced topics.

I noticed that you’re using <input.. /> tags for displaying some of the images. The input type="image is really meant for forms and not as a means for just displaying images.


If your using the RTE editor it’s probably just a question of having clicked the wrong toolbar button... but you really should change these to something like:
