i’ve tried searching, but can’t find an answer to this newbie question:
is there an easy way to customise the web sign up form? i want to allow users to signup using my own fields, and later let them view/edit some of them.
i want the signup to be one step - i don’t want this split into 2 steps, using the default websignup for the first, and ppp for the second for instance.
what is the best way to do this? looking at the websignup snippet, it seems that if i modify the form for extra fields, i’ll have to modify the code that builds the insert statement in websignup.
perhaps it would be better to use eform, but set it so that it doesn’t send an email, and hook it on an event after validation to perform what i want? i don’t want to waste my time if there’s an easier way...
