    Hi!

First off, I want to say... Awesome CMS! I used many for a few years now, but this one by far is the easiest, most flexible, and most enjoyable to use. It’s so easy, a caveman could do it! (not that there’s anything wrong with being a caveman).

Next, I hope that I’m in the right forum and that I’m able to articulate this problem I seem to be having.

I have a fresh install on Linux/Apache, using friendly URLs (works great!) with no other add-ons from the fresh install, other than the template that I’m currently constructing. However, images that are inserted into a document are not being referenced correctly. From the minimal install, the home page alias is "minimal-base", which is cool. However, I created a child document within "minimal-base" and inserted a photo using the TinyMCE editor. The program stores the image and creates the thumb in /assets/images/, but the reference when you hit the page in a browser is looking for the photo in /minimal-base/assets/images/. For instance...

The browser is searching for the image in http://www.myurl.com/minimal-base/assets/images/imagename.jpg, when the photo is actually in http://www.myurl.com/assets/images/imagename.jpg - the browser doesn’t show the photo, of course.

    So, my questions are:

    1. why is the parent alias, "minimal-base", being inserted into the URL and should it be there?

    2. how do I fix this?

    3. the /assets/images/ folder also has a file called .thumb_samenameasoriginal.jpg. Shouldn’t the page be referencing this one instead, since it’s a smaller version of the original?

Thanks in advance for all your help. I hope to return the favor soon.

    Thad
