One more question and then I’m sold on ModX

Please take a look at http://modxcms.com/features.html.

Is there a way to set the menu so that it would only show:

Features
-- Ajax CMS
-- SEO CMS

and that’s it?

Yes, by using UltimateParent snippet in Wayfinder’s startId parameter.
