creating subfolders with 777 permissions

    Hello,

    I have problems with creating folders with modx. When I use "Manage files" "New folder" I get no results.
    I use create folder functionality which comes with editor’s "browse server" function but it creates folders with 755 permissions. Is there a way to configure it to create subfolders with 777 permissions?

      Look in Tools > Configuration > File Manager, assuming you are running latest release (0.9.5).

        I tried but I was getting errors. I’ve found out that there was an error in polish translations, which caused Javascript errors and malfunctions. I’ve corrected polish translation and now it works fine.

        Folders are created with 0755 which is set in modx_system_settings but I’m not receiving "permission denied" errors anymore - I wonder why smiley
