So, I logged into my Modx Manager today. The main settings were locked, not an issue, I just did the whole remove all locks thing.

Then, I went to go manage my menu. Remove some, publish some, add some new ones.

The menu items that are unpublished, I cannot publish them again, because it says they are already published. It keeps saying that I cannot remove the home document. I also cannot edit them, because they have the exact same information AS my home document.

I cannot create new menu items, because, they all have the same home document default information already in the form, and yes, this includes the document ID. So when I try to create a new link/page, it says that document ID 2 is already in use.

It’s quite hard to explain what is happening. But I hope someone can help me because it seems something got messed up.

    Install info:

    MODx version 0.9.5
    Version codename rev 2106
    phpInfo() View
    Access permissions Enabled
    Server Time 11:21:02
    Local Time 07:21:02
    Server Offset -4 h
    Database name gaia_bamodx
    Database server localhost
    Table prefix modx_

I’ve attached some screens. In the first one, you see that Community and Awards are unpublished, but you see in the information to the right, that it has all the HOME DOCUMENT information in it, even though I choose Awards to view.

In the second, is the screen of making a new web link. I didn’t add or move anything. The exact same thing happens when I try to make a document as well.

    Thanks.

I just noticed that ALL of my menu items point to the HOME DOCUMENT sad.

Is the information in the database correct for those pages? (ie. the records in the site_content table contain the correct data)

I would definitely try reuploading the MODx files to the server - it looks like something has got corrupted somewhere along the line (looking at that second pic)

I had something similar once when my host did some adjustments on the server (they never did tell me what they changed but it really screwed my files all over the place)

            It has done it again!

Is this something I should contact my host about, and if so, what exactly should I ask them about or inform them about the issue?

            Thanks.
