Pages only for SMF users . redirecting prob.

Hi...

now.. im only coming with questions.
so...

I want to make a little group page with a Forum , calendar, chat and so on..
now i installed ModX (which i very like) and tried phpbb and changed it to SMF Forum.
SMF still doesn’t have so much Mods and is somehow hardly to customize if u want very specific things
u have in mind (like me).

i tried the ChatMod but i don’t like it.
i tried the Gallery and i also don’t like it.

so i thought about if i could make MODX pages only for users that are registered in SMF forum.
the connection thing between is already installed.
but, is that possible to do that for my chat page and my gallery page.

i just don’t want guests to upload things.

maybe im thinking to complicated.

secont quest: is it hard to port a chat to SMF ? maybe its better to include the things to SMF forum because of the user question...

ok... i managed the "only if logged in " thing...


there is one problem left that would solve all other things.
as i said i use SMF and i tried to include the
ssi_login() thing. there is just a problem with the redirection.

i tried to change the path directly in the SSI.php, created snippets, tried to call it directly
but nothing works.

has someone solved the redirecion problem ?

because MODX has a Problem using SS.php commands like ssi_login(url);
and redirecting i decided to make a login page.

so what i dit is included thickbox.js and made a thickbox login thing...

works great. there is just the Problem with the logout left...
after a while you can’t logout... maybe i will solve that too.
