Ok, I’ve kinda been putting this off for awhile now (I had to put my MODx project on hold for awhile to get some stuff sorted out first) but I think it’s time to move my static site over to MODx. I posted here awhile ago asking abut porting my custom database app over to MODx; it’s not extremely complex - it allows users to search through a database for specific items, then displays a listing of them, and allows the user to click on the item’s name and shows info about it. The admin part allows specific users to add and update records, and upload images.

Recently I’ve redone the entire app with classes to reduce code and make it more flexible to expand/change in the future. Am I going to need to do anything to make them work with MODx, besides what one would normally do with a regular PHP file to make it compatible with MODx?

Also, would it be better to make the entire admin part a module? I like the idea of having it there in the backend, but again, I’m not sure if that would be best.

Thanks for any help you guys can give! smiley
Mr. Madison, what you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
