    Hello

I’m new to modx, and I’m loving it at the minute. However, I’m having a couple of probs at the moment, but solely on the home page. Basically if I try and update the home page I get returned the following...

"Internal Server Error - The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."

Now, if I add a new page to the site, or If I edit any other page it all goes swimmingly. I know the register globals setting is set to off and all my permissions are set to the recommended levels. However, I can’t seem to sort this out. Does anyone have any ideas? Naturally I can edit directly in PHP MyAdmin, but this really isn’t ideal.

Sorry if this is a really stupid post, but I have done loads of trial and error approaches to this but none work.

    Cheers in advance

thanks for the reply - i had already done what you had suggested, so it isn’t the .htaccess file. I have tried new permission settings (I know my server likes 777 to 755 etc..) but again, still nothing. Just seems funny its only the home page that is affected.

I have duplicated the home page, set this new id number as the home page. Sadly I get the same error.

I think I’m going to un-install modx and re-install it to see if that helps.
