    Hi there,

First of all, Merry Christmas everyone! Ou Feliz Natal, as we say it here smiley

My present to all of you: problem statement - I’m having trouble with user/doc group permissions.

I have a MODx 0.9.5 rev 2016 site I want to use with 3 (manager) user groups: Administrators, Managers and Editors.

I have the following site structure (in parentheses the doc group):

    Base Doc (group 1)
    |
    |---Folder A (group 2)
    | |
    | |--Doc a (group 3)
    | |--Doc b (group 3)
    |
    |---Folder B (group 3)
    |
    |---Doc c (group 1)

I want everyone to be able to see the entire site structure but regarding the documents:

Administrators have access to documents in group 1/2/3
Managers have access to documents in groups 2/3
Editors have access to documents in group 3

I set the permissions accordingly, with these user/doc pairs in the Permissions tab, but now my Managers and Editors can’t see any document in the tree when they login!

Has any of the solutions in the post http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?action=post;topic=2316.15 been included in this MODx version? Is this a bug still not solved?

Any clues on how I could accomplish this? I’m not a programmer, so any solutions that don’t include hacking the core code is most welcome!

    Cheers, JP
