Expanding Web Users

Hello,

I’m planning a project of mine in which I need 2 types of users, both with the same basic stuff (adress, loginstuff) and for both types a specific profile part.

At first I was planning to code the whole thing myself, but because i’m using ModX for many other sites, I want to give it a try for this one also.

I could write a new module with some plugins to do the work, but what I would really like is using webusers so i can also use the integrated rights and group management features. But is this possible? And also: Is it do-able?

I’m a pretty good scripter (doing it for 3/4 years now) and developped some basic modules and snippets for ModX, so my experience isn’t the problem i suppose...
