remove a directory whith .htacess

    i organice modx instalations in main folders for example for language es,it,fr....
    i want to delete this from the url for example www.mysite.com/es/bienvenidos be www.mysite.com/bienvenidos
    and www.mysite.com/en/welcome to www.mysite.com/welcome
    is posibol whith touchinh htacces i test some thigs but all give a server errors

      Not sure what you want the result to be but here’s a rewrite rule that will rewrite the specified language directories into a query string instead. (assuming you have friendly urls on)

      RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^(en|es|it|fr)/(.*)$ index.php?q=$2&lang=$1 [L,QSA]
#existing rules
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA]


      added: The result for mysite.com/en/index.htm would be mysite.com/index.php?q=index.htm&lang=en

        i couldent setup it give me a infinite loop but the directoryes es it en ... are created into modx arent phisical and the only thing i want to remove is es/ it/ en/... for example mysite.com/en/welcome goto mysite.com/welcome.
