User menu seperate?

Hi, working on setting up the basics of my site. I want my clients to have their own area to log in to (invoices, project related documents and so forth), and this is as I understood really just a matter of setting the correct roles and groups. But my questions is, after doing some light experimenting.. how can I have one main menu accessible for everyone, and have the user specific menu items appear somewhere else (i.e. in a user menu )

And how ’bout a "my profile" page or something similar in the same user menu where that specific user can change his password, details and so forth? Is this possible?

So far I find modx great, just gotta learn the tricks of the trade

generated menus like drop menu dont show the item menu if dont have rhigts, for the other cuestion see the code of ppp snippet. good look

Hm, not sure you understood what I was asking (or I didn’t understand what you meant, take a pick )

I want to have one main menu and one user menu for logged in users. I’d like the restricted menu items (user menu) to appear separate from the main menu. As it is now, when a user logs in the restricted menu items simply appear at the bottom of the main menu.

I’d like to have the user menu items appear above the "log out" link where the login form was before logging in.

And also what is the ppp snippet?

ppp snippet is a snippet for customice the data of the users (extend) search ppp in search box and see about.
and for the kind of menus you i think need to change a fiew a menu sistem and put two instances of the snippet one for logged and other general (if is in the same menu is more easy drop menu can do)
