    Hi,

today upgraded to 9.5, all very nice thanks.
tried to log in first time, got blocked after 3 goes.
I *absolutely* have right password, confirmed by doing another MD5 hash, and looked at the new and old in database.
user name is right. I am the only admin, the only user.
going to mysql db user_attributes does not have anything but 0 in "blocked until" and failedlogincount, BUT, replaced 0 with 0 and managed to give myself more logins, but still no success.
checked MD5 in manager_users also OK.

The only difference might be that in .92 I added my own captcha words (which were never used because of that bug), but now of course, those new words are active, I did check originally to make sure they were correctly input, so, it’s probably not them being incorrectly formatted.

I am looking for any expert assistance, but in the meantime, can anyone show me where in the db I can stop captcha, so at least I can eliminate that?
Excuse the verbosity of post, better to include all info!
    Thanks, Paul

paul_d, please confirm you ran the upgrade installation process and have cleared your local browser caches completely.

If that doesn’t help and you’ve already been through that, just ignore that, and try editing the {TABLE_PREFIX}system_settings table through phpmyadmin (if you have access to such); look for setting_name=use_captha and set that to 0. Try again. Report back if that still does not work...

        Thanks Opengeek,

yes cleared cache earlier, no difference.
in table switched use Capcha off = 0 , it didn’t switch it off ?? still using captcha for login, even after another cache clear... (possible bug?)

        went back to the table again, now fields are populated with failed logins! hooray! fixed them, went to login;
        ALL OK
I don’t know what I did, except that one of the captcha words I’d added ages ago, was all lower case, I changed the first letter to upper, I can’t beleive that made a difference, but, I’m just adding feedback for others (possibly misleading!)
        Anyway, all is fine now.
        thanks again,
        Regards,
        Paul
