    Hi guys,

    I’m using MODx 0.9.5 and I’m just wondering if there’s an easy way to hide or move the ’Page data’ area that appears when you click on a page in the document tree in the manager. My reason for this is that I’d like to see the page preview without having to scroll down quite a ways.

    Thanks

      Assuming you’re using 0.9.5...

      Open manager/actions/document_data.static.php in a decent text editor and cut the following preview window code (from near the bottom of the file):

      <!--BEGIN SHOW HIDE PREVIEW WINDOW MOD-->
      <?php
      if ($show_preview==1) { ?>
      <div class="sectionHeader">
        <?php echo $_lang["preview"]; ?></div><div class="sectionBody" id="lyr2">
        <iframe src="../index.php?id=<?php echo $id; ?>&z=manprev" frameborder=0 border=0 id="previewIframe">
        </iframe>
      </div>
      <?php } ?>
      <!--END SHOW HIDE PREVIEW WINDOW MOD-->

      And then paste it just above the following Page Data code:
      <div class="sectionHeader"><?php echo $_lang["page_data_title"]; ?></div>

      Save and upload.

          This is great but now how do you put the ’document content’ above the ’document setting’ once you click edit.

          I know that mutate_content.dynamic.php is the file to edit. but after moving the content to the top I get errors about the calendar.

          Any suggestions
