Hi all,
I would really like to use modx for my next cms based site. One of the requirements is to have multiple access levels, so, user A logs in and see pages specific to user A only. I plan to set up about 10 different ’client areas’ whereby, content will be delivered depending on the username.
Thanks
Lee

Yes, that is what the "web user" system is for.

Yep ... set up a document group and assign those pages to it.
Set up a user group and assign those client-users to it.
Link the two and you’re done. (This is all in webusers, mind you.)

I heard that webusers will be merge to manager users in MODx 1.0. Is that confirm?

There will be a single user system by 1.0, yes.

Is there any ’best practice’ currently on managing users on our site in terms of preparation for the future (to reduce nightmare when converting or to improve compatibility for extensions)
I can only really think of one potential nightmare.
Best Practice: if a web user has the same email address as a manager user they should have the same username.
