    i think ive put off for too long and i want to get the site upgraded, ive taken all steps necessary , done a sql back up from modx control panel and phpmyadmin and also backed up the whole public_html folder.

    i am reading a lot about this stats problem? whats the issue?

    i have the stats call on my error 404 page... does this mean i need to remove it ?

    i am using an old modified maxigallery snippet too , will this all still work fine after the upgrade???

      The easiest/safest thing to do would be to change any snippet that references stats (like GetStats) to a simple:
      return '';

      And remove them in your template at your leisure. You’ve now got all the pieces needed to upgrade your site. Best advice I can give you is to follow the Alternate Method listed at the MODx wiki.

      As long as you don’t use private API methods, your upgrade should go without much excitement.

            That means it doesn’t find the manager/includes/config.inc.php file. Did you make sure to replace this into your new upload?
