    Hello, I’m Jon, and I have installed ModX 0.9.5.

    Now, I have a question. How can I hide the Configuration Check on the front of the Administrator-panel?
    When I Logged in, then I come on the Home of the Manage-panel, and there is the Configuration Check, that’s annoying me.

    (I mean the Configuration Check that show Errors in the configuration of the CMS on the front of the Administrator-panel...)

    Sorry for my bad English. I’m from the Netherlands.
    Kind regards, Jon

      Hi Jon,

      If the error is about the language file, you can download the complete Dutch translation at the Dutch forums.

      If the error is about the Error and Unauthorized page, in the configuration settings just point these pages to ID 1 (which is most likely to be your homepage) and these errors are gone. This is how I got rid of these, as I have to agree, annoying errors.

      Once you have created your own Error and Unauthorized pages, you can point to the correct ID’s by changing the config settings later.

      By the way: I’m Dutch too, so it’s kind of funny we talk to eachother in English grin

        Hello Webe,

        No, it’s the error about the registrar_globals. I can’t change it in ini.php..

        Kind regards, Jon

          Is there any news on how to do this?

          My host has register_globals enabled also, and it is really annoying to see the config check every time.

          I’m not Dutch, but it’s still annoying grin

            Create a custom welcome.html template. Look at the one in /manager/media/style/MODxLight/ for an example.

            You could either remove the system check or move it to the last tab. wink

              And have you made absolutely sure that you can’t turn register globals off? You should turn it off if possible.. using .htaccess or php.ini file in your root folder could do it..

                BRILLIANT!

                For anyone else who has this "problem"/annoyance do this:
                Edit /manager/media/style/MODxLight/welcome.html

                Find this block (they are so nicely commented too):
                <!-- system check -->
                <div class="tab-page" id="tabcheck" style="display:[+config_display+]; padding-left:0px; padding-right:0px;">
                <h2 class="tab" style="display:[+config_display+]">[+settings_config+]</h2>
                <script type="text/javascript"> if(’[+config_display+]’==’block’) tpPane.addTabPage( document.getElementById( "tabcheck" ) );</script>
                <div class="sectionHeader">[+configcheck_title+]</div><div class="sectionBody">
                <img src="media/style/[+theme+]/images/icons/event2.gif" />
                [+config_check_results+]
                </div>
                </div>

                Move it BELOW the block for <!-- online info -->

                Thanks so much
