Blog-items added in front-end do not show up

Hello All!

I have some questions, for which I did not find answers in de Forum yet.

• When I would like to add blog-items in the frontend, they are not published untill I edit them in the backend. They show up in the document list in the backend, but I have to edit end save them in the backend, before they show up on the website. I would like to have web-users to add blog-items without having to use the back-end. Is this possible?
• When users comment on blog-posts, I have a 404 (page not found) error

I did a fresh install of version 0.9.5 (rev 2106), and am using PHP version 4.4.4.

Is there something I do wrong, or are there some parameters to set, which I have not found yet?

Are you using NewsPublisher? add &clearcache=`1` into that call..

Sure,

Did you created the system for yourself? or you using default content based blog setup?

If you are using deafult content (the premade blog setup ships with MODx), Edit document 3 titled as "Add a blog entry", you will see this in it:


replace it with:

Thanks! Adding blog-items from the frontend is working like a charm!

Only the problem with commenting on existing blog-items, still shows a 404-error. You can visit the site at http://www.tapasrecept.nl.
