    Dear all,

I need "MODx 0.9.2.2 (rev 1923)" installation zip or tar.gz that was available a few weeks ago for the download, and now is removed due to the new release.
I was working on "MODx 0.9.2.2 (rev 1923)" and suddenly I had the hard disk broken, so I lost the installation ZIP along with many other files.

Can somebody please send me that original file (archive) either by e-mailing me or providing the link where I could get the file.

    Thank you very much

File sent to your email. Nevertheless, I’d suggest you upgrade to v0.9.5.

        Thank you Cassiel.
        I’ve received the file.

I will upgrade to the higher version, but currently I’m building a site with 0.9.2.2 in order to learn how MODx works. I would continue immediately with 0.9.5 but I have noticed that many things are different. When you log in to the Manager, it seems that many features from 0.9.2 are missing or displaced, which would consume a lot of time to me to get used with the new environment. I hardly can manage to pull all the strings with the one I am already familiar with grin

The only thing missing from 095 are the built in stats, which are problematic. Well that and a boatload of bugs and obscure opportunities for security breaches. I strongly recommend developing/learning on 095, as effectively support for the earlier stuff is pretty much dead at this point and the first thing you’ll hear if you run into problems will be, "Please upgrade to 0.9.5 and try to reproduce the issue.".

Indeed. Everything works the same way, it’s just been moved around in the menus a bit. It takes about five minutes to figure out the changes.

The only thing that has actually been removed is the "create folder" links, because a folder is nothing special, it’s only a document with children. You now "create" a container by either checking the box while editing the document, or simply by assigning it to be the parent of whatevever document you are editing.

A lot of thought has gone into the reorganization of the Manager for 0.9.5, and as a result people who are used to looking for things in their 0.9.2.x locations may have to search a bit at first. But it really is way more logical in 0.9.5, and as Susan says everything is in there except for the previous integrated stats system (which would fill up your database and slow down your site surprisingly quickly). Translations for 0.9.5 are available and in excellent shape as well, and if you prefer FCK Editor to Tiny MCE you can add it, so I would also encourage everyone to make the leap to the new version and spend a little time getting to know it - it’s definitely worth it.

0.9.2.2 will not be supported officially as there are many problems with it that you likely won’t notice on basic marketing sites, but that are evident when building more complex sites/applications. If you really need it, we can put a copy back up or send you a link to a location where you can download it.

I would really appreciate a link to download it. If I can’t get the upgrade working this time around (trying alternate method form Wiki), I’m going to install the old version.
