How could I delete definitively??

hi all and sorry for my lack of knowledge

How could I delete a document or a directory definitively from the manager tree instead of having a highlighted file name??

I tried to uncheck all checkbox in the file properties but nothing happened...And moreover, I don’t dare use the wastepaper button in the submenu, I’am afraid of deleting all my website

Please, excuse me if an answer exists but I didn’t find anything...

Thanks

MODx has a fool proof features, a trashcan which allow restoring documents deleted by mistake. It means you have to empty the trashcan to delete it completely

Click on the trashcan, confirm and you’ll be done

I did it...what a wonderful CMS!!

Thanks
