Snippets Not Passing Parameters

I’m new to Modx and having just read through the documentation and installing the latest version 0.9.2.2 I can’t get snippets to work. The one in question is the contact form, I have made sure that Cacheable and richtext is turned off on the contact page and have tried using [[ContactForm]] as well as [!ContactForm!] within my page, but both give me a "The email address you supplied ({}) does not appear to be valid. Please try again." error. Any suggestions? I have seen some references to a 9.5 version that some are running, where do I download that version?

This is the contact portion of the page.

The default email is [(email_sender)] which takes it’s value from the email you put into the system config. you can override this with &sendTo parameter ([!ContactForm? &sendTo=`[email protected]`!].

Just as a note those ` are backticks and not ’ single quotes.

honestly, I would really encourage you to look at eForm 1.4.1. It is much more flexible than ContactForm.

Ok Josh,
If you are using one of the MODx 0.9.5 (or one of it’s Release candidates), eform is installed by default, and comes with two chunks (ContactForm and ContactFormReport), with an example call on the "contact us" page.
If you are using an older version, you may need some tips in getting it set up, so I posted an example eForm Form, an eForm Report Form, and an example call on the eForm wiki page.
Hopefully that will help get you started.
