    Hi there,

    Is there any way to change the value that gets inserted into the [*title*] template variable when I post back to the same page a couple of times???

    ie it reads: Booking - POST FORM - Booking Confirmation - POST FORM - Thank you!

    Have never set a TV in a snippet before......

    Cheers,

    Justin

      you can insert a snippet call into the tv to show a hidden or not hidden value of the form
      form
      <input type="hidden" name="result" value="Thanks for posting" />
      snippet:
      return $_REQUEST[’result’];

        thanks xyzvisual

        thats a little arkward! I would imagine been able to set the document TV’s as they are rendered is a fairly common request?

        Thanks!

          No; that’s what placeholders are for. Why persist something as a TV, or chunk, or any part of a document, if it’s going to be set dynamically by the script anyway? Just change the value of [*pagetitle*] to [+mypagetitleAsAPlaceholder+] and set the value of mypagetitleAsAPlaceholder in your snippet...
