It seems since I’ve upgraded to 0.9.2.2 I’ve not been able to get NewsEditor working. I don’t recall changing anything to the coding but now it seems to loop round when you submit an article to the same editor page - rather than going to the posts page and it doesn’t create a news item.
I was using Ditto as the news items manager, however that seems to have problems - if there are no news items it comes up with a parse error (honestly, sometimes I wonder what I do in my sleep to break these things!) so I’ve tried using NewsManager, which seems fine.
The code I’m using is as follows can someone confirm I’ve not done something silly? -
[!NewsPublisher? &folder=`205` &makefolder=`1` &postid=`307` &formtpl=`BlogForm` &rtcontent=`tvblogContent`!]
where 205 is the news folder to contain the articles
307 is the document where NewsManager snippet is called
BlogForm is a chunk, which is there and the page displays
blogContent is a TV, which is there and appears to be right.
I’m not sure where I can get a copy of the BlogForm chunk and blogContent TV, to just replace them incase there is something fishy there? I’ve got the NewsEditor snippet from the forum just incase something was wrong with that.
I know I originally had a problem with this when using Safari but it was working ok in Firefox, I’ve tested both and bothe have the same problem.
I’m sorry if I’m just being silly here but can anyone see where I might be going wrong?
