I got a modx web page + webusers snippet. People log on there to get points. They can get 1 point every day and after 100 points they get a 10 euro discount at their shop.

We now made an auction system (well, someone build it for us) for the same shop, but that shop is not integrated within modx. Its in a directory called ’onlineauction’. We use the modx webusers db table for the auction system, because we didnt want people to have different accounts for the site and the auction system. Another reason we did this was people only had to log in once. They login at the modx site and then proceed to the auction system where they still should be logged in, but somehow the sessions are killed when you leave the modx page and go to the directory of the auction system.

I made an example at my personal page: http://www.devschuur.com/sessions

Am i doing something wrong here?

The only thing I can think of now is to use cookies, which my client doesnt really like. But if its the only possible fix, they’ll have to live with it wink

The auction scripts need to start the same session MODx is using. You’ll probably need to include the manager/includes/config.inc.php file and use the session name from that.
