[Resolved] (new user) permissions related error

Hi guys,

I’ve just done a fresh installation of 0.9.2.2 on my site with PHP v. 5.1.6 and MySQL v. 5, and after having logged in, when I go under Manage Files, I see the following errors:

[tt]Warning: dir(/mounted-storage/home31c/sub001/sc27340-XZXD/www/) [function.dir]: failed to open dir: Permission denied in /mounted-storage/home31c/sub001/sc27340-XZXD/www/manager/actions/dynamic/files.dynamic.action.php on line 366

Fatal error: Call to a member function read() on a non-object in /mounted-storage/home31c/sub001/sc27340-XZXD/www/manager/actions/dynamic/files.dynamic.action.php on line 369[/tt]

I took a look in the php file being mentioned to see if I could figure out which directory could have wrong permissions (provided that’s the issue), but had little luck. I Googled a bit around, but found nothing that appeared to be related.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated ...

Look at the setting in the User Management page, the User tab, and make sure it’s set for the root of your site (www, in your case). Then make sure that that folder has execute/read permissions on your server. If your server configuration doesn’t allow those permissions, you might have to change the path to www/assets/ for both the user’s path and the site configuration file manager path.
