Hi - I’ve been reading all the docs and forums for this, but my knowledge of CSS is a bit limited and am wondering if anyone can help.

    I’ve got a page here:
    http://www.hawaiiseed.org/horzmenutest.html

I’m trying to "move" the dropmenu on the left into the listamatic horizontal menu at the top with no luck.

css and html for the listamatic menu is here:
    http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic2/horizontal04.htm

Thanks so much if anyone can help.

You want both menus on the same page? Or do you want to get rid of the left menu and only have the horizontal menu?

In either case, simply make the appropriate Wayfinder call (by appropriate I mean &startId and &level and &tpl values to suit your needs) where you want the menu to appear, and style the result per the listamatic sample you are using.

You can also call Wayfinder with the option to have it store the resulting menu in a placeholder rather than output it directly, then use the placeholder wherever you want it to appear in your page. See the Wayfinder documentation for the exact option to do that. Then you could use the same Wayfinder call to make as many of the same menus on a page as you want, enclosing each placeholder in its own html container, and style each one as you like.

I would ideally try to have some menu items on the left and some on the top. I had been using the standard dropmenu. Coming from a designer perspective, I’ve found the wayfinder documentation a bit baffling, and gave up on it recently. It looks like it would work fine, but for someone is not really a coder, a step by step tutorial would be great. I do appreciate your reply.
