I’ve tried to explain it in FS#692 ... but I have missed my explanation (I never wanted to speak about manager’s logging)
So
I thoug visitors logging was deprecated (even if I wasn’t sure)...
but
there are still radio buttons available in tools/configuration for Log visits (stats) and even one whichi is Resolve hostnames
As I wasn’t sure visitor logging was deprecated, I could not affirm that you should remove them... but now you said it, I may suggest you to remove that configuration options.

Not going away, they are going to be available for those that want to develop their own logging solution and might want to depend on a system setting for configuration purposes.
Is it the active_users table we are talking about here?
