A 'read more' that reveals?

Hi, I’ve tried to search for this... but maybe I’m just using the wrong terms...

What I’m looking for is a snippet /plugin that I can pop into an article that will hide the rest of it until clicked. Like a ’Read More’, but one that doesn’t pageinate, but reveals the rest of the article inline. Probably using Ajax I suppose.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I’m new to ModX and javascript in general...

Any help much appreciated.

You don’t need AJAX to do this (although there’s nothing to stop you) - something like this could be controlled by a JavaScript library like moo.fx.

Have a look at the demo stuff over there - particularly the Height Demo.

That looks perfect for what I want. I’ll see if I can get to grips with it.

Thank you!
