i’m looking into using modx for my band’s (Hillcrest Road) website. however, while i work on installing and developing the site with modx i’d like to still have visitor’s to the site redirected to a different page so their is at least some content available to them. is this possible with modx, and if so, how would i go about doing so? i would like to know the exact steps as accurately as possible to eliminate the down time of the site.

this may be in the documentation... but i couldn’t find it. thanks in advance for any responses.

    - p.s. i’m also looking for help developing the site. i’m almost finished with the design and would appreciate any and all help i can get making it into a functioning modx site. i’m quite proficient in html, reasonable at css, js, and php... but have no prior experience with a cms or creating templates.

You can use the MODx "Site status", "Site unavailable page" and "Site unavailable message" in the Configuration menu.
