How can I access stats from external app?

I have Analog on my webserver (Dreamhost) - it used to be accessible from:

domain.tld/stats/

Now if I try to access this URI I just get a 404 error. Anyone know how to get this back?

does the folder actually exist in your FTP program?

usually the quote unquote "folders" mail and stats are apache redirects in httpd.conf. these can be overriden with .htaccess, so if you have FURLs enabled, you are going to have troubles with these types of virtual directories or symbolic links.

- this is for movable type - works nicely with MODx, just add before MODx rewite rules.

- I suppose to edit the second RewriteCond would be a good idea, but I haven’t triued a failed login yet.

Spoke too fast - can login via basic http auth, but I get the pass in and I get a 404.

Seems it’s working now, very strange!
