Some problems I found in 1.4 version:
1. With file permissions
Because of my specific server environment - chrooted php-cgi i have small problem with the permissions the module sets to the folders and images.
When initially created the permissions are ok 755 for the folders and 644 for the images
When you add a name to an image, the permissions for the folder, containing this image becomes 644, which in my case makes the module stop to work.
I temporary fixed this with changing all chmod calls to 755, but I would like to fix the exact problem. So one question and one suggestion
- Could you please tell me where exactly this folder permission change happens when image name is changed?
- May be it is not bad idea to add 2 parameters in the configuration - folder umask and image umask. This way the module will be more compatible with different server environments.
2. With thumbnail names
In the function _activate_libs in the snippet class you use $name_len to compare the real name with the configured length, but you forget to define it
I would suggest you put
$name_len = $this->cl_cfg['name_len'];
