could you get any error.log file from your site through FTP ?
there is something with your server’s setting that prevent easy2 to load the index.php.

I bet you’re using PHP 4. If it’s true, it’s a dead end. Easy2 should be run on the PHP 5.

And your hosting doesn’t allow the set_time_limit() function. You can search that line, and comment it out, if you have to.

Yes. I asked my hosting provider to change PHP version.
Now I use PHP 5.

Easy 2 Gallery had installed now! =))) Thank you very much!!!

But I have problems :

1)

If I create folder with web-interface - then I can’t upload pictures by FTP :

Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (87,242,64,21,117,35).
Command: STOR 408_20.jpg
Response: 550 408_20.jpg: Permission denied
Error: Upload failed

And I can’t create with FTP subfolder in this folder (which created with web-interface) :

Command: CWD /photo.teamb.ru/www/easy2gallery/foreign_tours/
Response: 250 CWD command successful
Command: MKD egypt
Response: 550 egypt: Permission denied


CHMOD:
/easy2gallery/ 777
/easy2gallery/foreign_tours 755


Is it problem with owner ?

In default.config.easy2gallery.php :

then path to pictures is not right :

( "main/russian_tours" - it is not required)

if I write
’dir’ => ’/easy2gallery/’,
then in the page with gallery no images :
http://photo.teamb.ru/main/russian_tours/elbrus/

Because you’re using Friendly URL, you need to add base href before any script’s href or CSS’s link rel.

And please fix the easy2’s CSS path, do not add a slash "/" in front of the assets/...

One more thing,
Please add <!DOCTYPE ... on top of your template.
Otherwise your site will be read as Quirk Mode by browsers.

All script’s files should be edited by script, but can not be edited by FTP user.
And all FTP files can be changed by FTP users, but can not be deleted/moved by script.
It’s not about 777/755 permission, it’s about the ownership group (like Apache or user).

So how can we deal with it?
Well, easy2 has the multiple image and zip upload. Use that.
In this kind of server, do all the folder creation through Module, not via FTP upload.

It’s not easy2’s influence.
It’s your server’s settings.
Nothing we can do about it.
Only your host admin that can change that permissions.
