may be because the other 3 photos have portrait orientation.
try to add &ss_allowedratio=`all`
ss_allowedratio actually calculates the width/height ratio, because the script always generates the original pictures to match with your &ss_w (display’s width) and &ss_h (display height) to have a full size of pictures.
When you have a display box in landscape orientation and try to show a portrait picture, you’ll get a picture with too much cropping from the top and the bottom.

No.
It’s designed to reject visitor to go to upper folder.
It’s against the descendant rules of the snippet call.
I invented this system since 1.4.0 beta 4 or so.
So, the &gid of the snippet call is the milestone to go forward, but you can not go backward, or even to the sibling folders (by directly changing the link in the address bar).
And actually, I’ve been thinking to delete the &crumbs_showHome.

Ок, тогда придется удалить &crumbs_showHome. А можно как-то другим способом в crumbs прописать такую ссылку?
Да, по поводу prev и next, в каких файлах можно дописать эту функцию?

you can disable it from your module settings, find out the crumbs section.

при значении &ss_allowedratio=’all’ работают все слайдшоу кроме ’galleryview’
при [!easy2? &slideshow=`galleryview`!] растягивает окно сайта без вывода картинок или ошибок
