From the first image?
In my case - from last loaded image (in this directory).
And one more problem:
I go in admin page, and I write name of the image, tag and descripton. And press "save" button.
But its not save.
When I once again go in this admin page - there’s no name of image, no tag, no description.

If I create directory in admin panel (not in FTP) :
I can to write name of directory. OK.
If I create directory by FTP (with chmod 777) :
I can’t to write name of directory (it is not saved)
And in both cases:
I can’t to upload files by web-form (in admin panel)
(error 123 : file is not uploaded )
I can to upload file by FTP.
But I can’t to write name of file. (it is not saved.)
May be - the problem in the chmod?
Those directories, which I create by web-form (in admin panel) have 755 chmod.
FTP not allow to change it to 777 :
---
Command: SITE CHMOD 777 /www/.../photo/food
Response: 550 CHMOD 777 /www/.../photo/food: Operation not permitted

What is the default ’owner’ if you make folder/files with FTP, and with web ?
You can see it directly from the FTP client.
