GetStats snippet shows differnt number on different pages..

I thought it counted visits and hot hits per page ,

one page says 4k other says 2 ...

code im using

Honestly, I wouldn’t spend too many cycles with the current internal visitor stats or related components. They are gone from the new release, and we will likely not be providing support for this portion of the product. Our recommendation when asked is probably going to be, "do not use the internal visitor logging features as there are a lot of known issues with it. You are better off looking for more stable solutions for visitor tracking, like AWStats or another Apache log file analysis package, GoogleAnalytics, or another local tracking package like SlimStats or Mint."

we use pritty much all of those you mentioned above but i thought it was a nice touch for our error page to show the amount of visitors

check it out on our site (link in sig) then goto a random named file.

Will the new version have visitors now browsing in the manager admin section ? because i always check this a quick way of seeing where people are being refered to our site from
