While searching through various CMS before settling on MODx, I saw a number of nice features, and I wonder if there is an easy way to replicate this one in MODx.
I wish to create a SINGLE document that might be quite long, but to then have it automatically displayed in a "multipage" format by incorporating special tags meaning "nextpage" in the document.
So the main document contains
.. bunch of stuff ...
<nextpage>
.. bunch of stuff
<nextpage>
.. bunch of stuff
<nextpage>
Then when displayed, I want it to be automatically displayed one page at a time with "next", "previous" and "jumpToPage" links..
I suppose that I can do this by creating each "bunch of stuff" as a separate document and then using some snippet (what snippet is used to generate the list of all Resources on the Repository page?), but this is sort of like writing a book page-by-page while I want to write it "chapter-by-chapter" if you see what I mean...
I searched for "multipage" on the forums and saw some things about treating a whole pile of documents as a single article (for commenting etc) but I think that I really want to do it the opposite way round... take a single article and make it display as though it were a bunch of documents...
Cheers
