Just tried installing the latest version for a new site, during the installation process I get this error:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: synccache in /home/site/public_html/development/rdc/install/instprocessor.php on line 439
Any ideas what it might be?

Fraid not, I skipped to the beta version.
sigh i am getting this with the latest beta.
Does that manager/processors/cache_sync.class.processor.php file exist in your installation and is the file ok (ie. not corrupted)? If not, reupload, maybe with some other FTP client and make sure every file gets uploaded ok. Have you chmodded cache directory and all files in it? What’s your server details..?

you were correct it was just a ftp error.
