    Hi,

    Unfortunately I read the follwoing after I had upgraded....

    IMPORTANT NOTE

    If you are using Wayfinder with MODx 0.9.2.1 and you are upgrading or patching to 0.9.2.2, Wayfinder 1.0 WILL BREAK YOUR SITE following the upgrade! You can fix this until a new release of Wayfinder is available that addresses the problem by replacing line 77 of the Wayfinder 1.0 snippet:
    Code:
    if (substr($this->modxVersion[’code_name’],-4) >= 1392) {
    with these two lines:
    Code:
    $revision= substr($this->modxVersion[’code_name’],-4);
    if ($revision >= 1392 && $revision != 1923) {
    If you make this change to Wayfinder before upgrading or applying the patch, everything should go smoothly.

    Now, when I’ve gone to make the changes I can’t see the line I’m meant to change! I’ve looked at both the snippet within resources and in wayfinder.inc.php Am I meant to be looking for the line somewhere else?

    Many thanks.
    Sian

      The code is in the /assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.inc.php file, around line 77.

        I have released an update to wayfinder with this included. You can get it from the repository.

          Thank you.

          I’ve updated the snippet but still having the same problem, is it just a case of totally deleting the site and starting again?

          Thanks again!

            You need to re-upload the files, also clear your cache, that should fix it.

              The problem code was in the file assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.inc.php, so you need to re-upload that file.

                Hello,

                It doesn’t seem to have fixed it. I’ve got the new snippet, uploaded file assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.inc.php and also replaced the snippet in resources. I cleared the cache but still getting blank pages (only thing I noticed was there were still files in the cache, even when I deleted them manually no joy, still blank pages).

                Any other suggestions?

                If not and it’s a case of deleting the lot and starting again. What’s the best way to make sure I don’t loose any information? I shall have a good look through the forums now but any tips would be great.

                Thanks again
                Sian

                  Try going into the Manager and clearing the cache there.

                      I would at this point suggest doing a full upgrade of 0.9.2.2, run the installer, then log in to the manager, save the site configuration, and clear the cache.

                      I’ve done 5 upgrades from 0.9.2.1 or 0.9.1 with no problem. With the 0.9.1 sites I did a full upgrade with installer. With the 0.9.2.1 sites I just did the "patch" upgrade, making sure that I uploaded all the patch files, including both index.php files.
