    I confirm the ticket FS#583 (about country lang file) is OK but I add a new ticket (FS#659) for sorting this table and making some modifications due to the CIA Wolrd Factbook

    Is there a way to retrieve this list easily in a snippet or a chunk (to use it in websignup for example) ?

      I have AGAIN a problem that seemed to have disappear. I deleted ALL my previous installation of MODx (i.e. both the files and the database). I reinstall from scratch and I found something very weird: when I edit the BottomButtonBar plugin and try to check the OnDocFormRender and then save, it shows me the first page (i.e. the home page of the frontend, not the manager!)

      What the hell is happening? I can give you the access to my manager, if you want.

      Admin note: Not .htaccess related

      Ok, for the strange redirection in ButtonBottomBar, the bug is reported here: http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/661

      This issue has been resolved!

        For the RC1 & RC2 I haved a problem with the usage of assets/js/pngbehavior.htc
        This script use a blank icon for PNG with transparency on IE6.

        By default, the path to this image is relative : "x.gif" (line #29)
        (x.gif is in the same directory of pngbehavior.htc)

        But IE display the broken link icon for each PNG.
        The modification of the image path to "assets/js/x.gif" solve the problem.

          There are two problems in RC2:
          the first is there are some strings that is not in the language file(I have complete translate the english.inc.php into Chinese),they are:

          1,Reports--Manager Actions--Query logging--"Item id"
          2,Reports--Manager Actions--Query logging--Query results
          3,"Showing 1 to 100 (282 total)
          [first] [previous] 1 2 3 [next] [last]"
          4,Tools--Configuration--Custom content types:--"Add"and"Remove"
          5,Security--Manager Permissions--User groups--Create a new user group--"submit"
          6,Security--Manager Permissions--Document groups--Create a new document group--"submit"
          7,Security--Web Permissions--Web User groups--Create a new user group--"submit"
          8,Security--Web Permissions--Document groups--Create a new document group--"submit"

          the second is:
          the defaule site of this page : http://changkong.org/index.php?id=5

              Two things:
              first, I know that a lot of people here use linux or another text editor that can deal with the LF style of line ending... anyway, I think that at least the readme in the root directory should be formatted using CR+LF (win style), just to make the life easier for newbies
              (admin Committed at 2061)

              second, the MODxLight manager template has a problem with the textareas, it should have monospace font, but it doesn’t work (I mean the textareas for the code in the manager)... as for me, I added

              textarea {
              font-family: monospace;
              font-size: 8pt;
              }

              in the end of the style.css ... but maybe there’s some weird stuff inside the style definition

              DevTeam: Not sure which rev added monospace, but it’s in there now for the main textareas

                This may be a "feature" of Firefox 1.5.0.7 but it happens with RC2 and the sample website. I have the password save feature set in Firefox. When I go from the Home page to the Request an account page, the User and Password fields on the right hand bar are autopopulated. The User and Password fields in the main panel can’t be used. Clicking on them puts the cursor in the related field in the right hand bar. I think that this is Firefox misbehaving but I haven’t tried it with IE yet.
                This may be conflicts with the same id used twice in the document object model. Likely, both forms use a common form element id.

                Bingo. Both use id="username" and id="password".

                  Hi,

                  I just tore my old site down (removed the databases and htdocs) and installed 0.9.5 RC 2. I like it a lot. I set up a simple blog and had trouble enabling comments. I fixed that by changing the UserComments call to a Jot call in FormBlogComments. Is UserComments actually installed by default? I don’t see it under Resources -> Manage Resources -> Snippets.

                  Oh good.
                  I found that too. I guess the default content did not get changed there yet.

                  tracked, and a fix posted.

                  I should explain that it replaces all occurrences of {{FormBlogComments}} to use {{Comments}}. The {{Comments}} chunk uses jot.
                  The {{FormBlogComments}} chunk uses the defunct [[UserComments]] snippet which is no longer shipped with MODx.

                    All of the above... in no specific order.

                    I have split the Resource Browser Issue out to a separate thread:
                    http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,9090.0.html
                    (which reduced the size of this thread from 5 pages to 3)

                    Basically, the file mcpuk/connectors/php/config.php has a mixture of line-ends: CR & LF, just LF, and just CR, which screws things up.

                    I think Maaike found the error, although a lot of people were involved.

                    This is pretty much covered by http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/673
                    and http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/679 - no real need for yet another bug report.

                      now that’s resolved for Anton, but:

                      I didn’t notice that the upgrade had resulted in new IDs being set for those config fields.
                      Woah.. Does it? Can anyone else confirm that? Edit: No, not even Anton.

                      Learning from Anton’s experience, in terms of 0.9.5 bugs:
                      * Possible setting of new Error Page and/or Unauthorized IDs (unconfirmed)
                      (now suspected to be a pre-existing condition)

                      and in terms of Desirable 0.9.5+ Features:
                      * Warning if Error page is inaccessible
                      * Warning if Unauthorized page is inaccessible
